Determined to overcome these obstacles, they partnered with Axcito to revamp their marketing efforts. This case study highlights the transformative steps taken and the remarkable results achieved through this collaboration.

1. Identify Problem Areas

During our initial consultation, the owner of the company shared his frustrations: "We've put so much effort into putting ads on social media and building a beautiful website, but it feels like we're shouting into the void. Nobody really engages with our posts. We have no idea how these marketing campaigns actually work."

We quickly identified several problem areas significantly hindering the company’s growth. While they were producing content, their social media posts weren’t resonating with their audience, leading to low interaction and reach. There was a clear gap between interest and action. 2. Analyze the Current Performance

To turn things around, we first had to analyze the current performance of their marketing efforts. This required defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and having marketing expertise to derive insightful outcomes.

Axcito’s team conducted a comprehensive analysis of the marketing activities. We defined KPIs such as:

  •     Social media engagement rates (likes, shares, comments)
  •     Website conversion rates (visits to purchase)

The audience was segmented based on demographics, behaviors and interests such as:

Behavioral patterns - Frequent online shoppers who prefer buying the latest mobile phones and accessories online. They are highly active on social media and often seek reviews and recommendations before making a purchase.

Interests - Mobile technology trends, new gadget releases, and staying updated with the latest apps and software updates. They are also interested in mobile photography, gaming, and tech-related lifestyle content.

4. Optimize Content & Channels

With a clear understanding of their audience and current performance, we focused on ensuring their content was relevant, high-quality, and engaging. Regular updates were made to reflect current trends and audience interests.

The content strategy was revamped to produce high-quality, engaging content tailored to the interests and behaviors of the target audience. This included blog posts, videos, and infographics on the latest mobile technology trends, new gadget releases, and tips for getting the most out of mobile devices. We focused on creating content around mobile photography tips, app reviews, gaming on mobile phones, and tech-related lifestyle advice.

Resources were reallocated to the most effective channels, such as Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter, which are popular among the target demographic of tech-savvy individuals aged 18 to 35. These platforms were prioritized to maximize reach and engagement. The content was regularly updated to stay relevant and engaging, reflecting the latest trends in mobile technology and seasonal themes, such as holiday gift guides for mobile gadgets or back-to-school tech tips.

5. Implement Personalization

Personalization became a cornerstone of its new marketing strategy. We developed tailored email campaigns offering personalized product recommendations based on past purchases and browsing behavior. Ads were customized for different audience segments to enhance relevance and engagement.

6. Continuous Improvement

Continuous improvement is key to successful marketing. We advised the company to regularly review their KPIs and adjust strategies based on data insights. Monthly performance reviews and quarterly strategy sessions ensured they stayed on track and adapted to new data. A/B testing of content and campaigns helped identify the most effective tactics and messaging.
